Since 1963, we have been a cherished fixture in Wallaceburg, Dresden, Bkejwanong Territory, North Kent, and South Kent, offering an exceptional curling experience for all. With four sheets of ice, a fully licensed bar and lounge, and full locker rooms, we provide a welcoming environment for curlers of all skill levels. As a non-profit community organization, our commitment extends beyond the sport, actively engaging in initiatives that benefit our community. Sports & Recreation Manager
Sydenham Community Curling Club
The Sydenham Community Curling Club is hiring a Sports & Recreation Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, support programs, and help grow our membership.
Hours
- September–March: 35 hrs/week
- April–August: 15–20 hrs/week
Wage: $23 - $26 per hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily club operations and facility needs
- Coordinate events, leagues, and programs (curling, pickleball, shuffleboard)
- Maintain website, registration, and member communications
- Support major events and bonspiels
- Assist with promotions, sponsorships, and community engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Experience in recreation, sports management, or event coordination (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Hello everyone!! Our new online registration is up and running and we are sooooo excited! This video will walk you thru logging in for the first time and also thru the registration steps.
